Doing business in Barcelona

April 4, 2006

Barcelona is one of Spain’s most popular cities. Located directly on the mediterranean sea with its many progressive and art nouveau buildings, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Many would say this metropolitan city is a jewel of the mediterranean.

Barcelona

It boasts one of the busiest seaports in the World. Many cruiseships dock here and visitors are abundant from all over the globe. Many foreigners decide to move to Barcelona after a few visits. The expat community in Catalunya is quite large and diverse. The options for working and living in this city are endless. Some decide to spend a few months a year here, when it is cold back North and others even stay full-time. Starting a business in Spain is very popular for foreign residents. You will see in our Business Directory that these range from friendly bars to highly professional consulting services.

Business Networking in Barcelona

Think you are alone? Surely not… Just like you, hundreds and thousands of people think of moving to Spain and doing business here. In Barcelona, the Entrepreneurs Network meets once a month and shares ideas and experiences. A network of entrepreneurs that all have one thing in common: Business in Spain. We invite you to get to know us…

The Entrepreneurs Network in Barcelona is a non-profit organisation, promoting the sharing of resources, ideas and information between its members.

With informal meetings on a regular basis, key issue speakers and links to other organisations its aim is to help entrepreneurs of any nationality to succeed in their goals.

Monthly meetings form the center of our activities, and act as a meeting point for members and new arrivals. Meetings are free, open to all and conducted in a very relaxed atmosphere. Talks may be in English or Spanish and the two languages are encouraged to co-exist in our environment. (The restaurant or space where we meet may charge a small amount for its services).

The organisation also sends some mails on behalf of members seeking work partnerships, offering job oportunities, looking for advice or on similar issues. Free offers of help or advise are also encouraged. The only constraint is that all offers must be non-comercial in nature. EN-Barcelona does not send out publicity on behalf of itself or any other comercial interest.
