French tradition and Catalan creativity
October 15, 2006
The Cent Onze opens its doors, a new gastronomic experience on the most popular artery in Barcelona, Las Ramblas. Its objective is to become an innovative gastronomic proposal which combines the best in French tradition with creativity from Catalunya. Cent Onze is a space open and cosmopolitan, whose access is directly on La Rambla, accentuating its closeness character and yet sophisticated.
From the hand of one of the most prestigious chefs from the French gastronomy, the kitchen of Cent Onze acquires a different personality. Michel Rostang, awarded with two Michelin stars, signs a menu balanced out and surprising where quality is not submitted to the aesthetics of the creations: the accompanying dish once again gains protagonism with the main ingredient of a plate.
Vivid colours and fresh tastes from the La Boqueria market fill the storage rooms of Cent Onze. Ingredients of prime quality become works of art at the hands of Michel Rostang and his gastronomic ideas, yet still remaining affordable.
Without a doubt a place, adapted to new tendencies, much needed in this Rambla.
