Playboy bunnies in Barcelona

A recent article in La Vanguardia talks about a rumour that Playboy International could be reaching an agreement to open a new business in Barcelona, precisely a Playboy Club! The establishment in question is located on the corner of the streets Bori i Fontest  and Beethoven. Initially it was thought that the owners of the business Bailen 22 (closed at the beginning of March 2007) would be related to the opening of the new club, but sources close to the owners of the shut down showgirls premises denied the relationship.

Nevertheless, there are other sources that claim that at least one of the owners of Bailen 22 are related to the new Playboy premises. The project, would use the current license “sala de fiestas” which the premises already hold and not offer any sexual services. The establishment would count with the presence of gorgeous women, dressed in the characteristic bunny outfits. Time will tell if Barcelona will be graced with the bunnies presence or not…
